Richard Best
THE BIG COG
After time in the Army and a successful career in the corporate world, Richard founded Breathing Space in 2004. As a keen cyclist, he saw the opportunity to enter the cycling market in 2012, and has been organising events ever since.

Andrew "Jacko" Jackson
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Having received an OBE for his time served in the Army, Jacko has military levels of organisation. He's a keen outdoorsman who is always on the lookout for his next challenge.

Sarah Jones
BIKE CHAMPION
Sarah focuses on community outreach and corporate connections. She is a force on the bike and has 2 European Bronze Medals for triathlon in her age category.

MARKETING & COMMS
Victor has experience in marketing and communications with Cycling Weekly, UK Cycling Events and road.cc. He brings a wealth of industry experience, a touch of youthfulness and an eye for design.

Natalie Creswick
EVENT DELIVERY TEAM
Natalie is an ex-professional road cyclist, turned cycling and triathlon coach. During her career, Natalie clocked up 24 wins, 47 podiums and over 100 top ten places on a national and international stage.

Felix is an avid cyclist with an extensive background in coaching and event organisation. Prior to joining us he held multiple roles with British Cycling.
A Brief History
Breathingspace was founded in 2004 by Richard Best, an outdoors enthusiast, and, as a keen cyclist, he saw the opportunity to enter the cycling market in 2012 with the launch of our first sportive, Bike Bath.
In 2014 we worked with the estate agents and property consultants, Carter Jonas, to launch the Yorkshire Pedalthon in the north and established Bike Oxford in the south, and in 2016 we launched Bike Chester and began managing BDOVELO, a cyclist's business networking group, on behalf of the accountancy firm BDO. See the BDOVELO website for further details. In 2018 Iconic took over the management of The Canterbury Bike Ride.
The team at Iconic Cycling Events are an enthusiastic group of individuals who enjoy designing, developing and delivering high quality cycling events around the UK and overseas. We specialise in cycling sportives and bespoke events, catering for a wide range of clients and we have more sportives and other brand new cycling projects lined up for the future.
